Day 2 STRESA, ITALY
BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL
Enjoy an American-style buffet breakfast and get ready for the day of exploration ahead.
MINI BOAT CRUISE AND TOUR OF ISOLA BELLA
Take a ferry from Stresa to Isola Bella and be met by a local guide. Tour the palace that Carlo III Borromeo had built in 1670 and view its magnificent paintings and ornately furnished rooms including a domed party room, a music room containing valuable antique instruments, and 6 grottoes with shell- and pebble-studded ceilings. Explore the surrounding, exquisite gardens that lie on 10 terraces—each with beautiful statues and themed to highlight a type of landscape design—topped with a unicorn, which was the symbol of the Borromeo family.
WINE TASTING IN STRESA
Return to Stresa, where your Adventure Guides will escort you to an exclusive wine tasting led by a sommelier at the family-owned La Cambusa Wine Shop—one of the finest wine and specialty food emporiums in the Piemonte area. Sip up to 4 different local wines paired with delicious accompaniments. Meanwhile, Junior Adventurers will enjoy grape juice and cookies.
ON YOUR OWN LUNCH AND AFTERNOON IN STRESA
Stroll through Stresa and delight in some of its landmark sites including Villa Pallavicino with its gardens and zoo, and the Church of Santi Ambrogio and Theodulo, Stresa's parish church. Walk along the waterfront for a picturesque view of boats en route to the Borromean Islands. Check out the incredible Italian eateries to find a good spot for lunch or ask your Adventure Guides for recommendations. If you prefer to take advantage of the Regina Palace Hotel's amenities, return there for lunch or to relax, swim or play tennis.
DINNER AT MONTEROSSO FARM
Join your fellow Adventurers for an exclusive family-style dinner featuring fresh fruits and vegetables grown on the premises. Atop the Monterosso hill with a panoramic view of Lake Maggiore, Monte Rosa and Valgrande National Park, this organic farm is surrounded by lush pastures, orchards and beech woods.
BOCCE BALL AND PONY RIDES FOR JUNIOR ADVENTURERS*

Study the art of pasta-making at a beautiful villa on the banks of Lake Como with hands-on instruction by a professional Italian chef. Day 4 ZERMATT, SWITZERLAND

THE SIMPLON PASS TO ZERMATT
Take a motor coach across the high mountain Simplon Pass between the Pennine Alps and the Lepontine Alps in Switzerland. A road that dates back to the Stone Age, the winding Simplon Pass takes you to Zermatt.
ARRIVE IN ZERMATT
Considered the most beautiful of the Alpine villages, the automobile-free Zermatt lies at the foot of the highest mountains in the Alps and basks in the splendor of the Matterhorn.
CHEESE FONDUE LUNCH IN ZERMATT
Dip into the delicious melted cheeses of the Alps at a charming restaurant. A Swiss specialty with shared French and Italian origins, fondue dates back to the late 17th century. Indulge with pleasure!

Day 5 ZERMATT, SWITZERLAND

Fuel up at breakfast for an action-packed day ahead. If you prefer not to participate in the physical activities, you can watch the activities from the sidelines—or stay behind in Zermatt to explore the many wonderful sites in this fascinating village.
ZIP LINING AND ROPES COURSE AT FOREST FUN PARK
Get ready for a morning of fun and adrenaline for the whole family! Ride in a mini electric car to the Forest Fun Park. A licensed instructor teaches about equipment safety and rules of the zip line and gives those Guests who choose to participate in zip lining a safety harness, gloves and some bottled water. Then, harness up and soar through crisp pines over babbling creeks and scenic paths. If you still have the energy, challenge yourself on the park's extensive ropes obstacle courses and zip lines. There are beginner and advanced courses, but all are sure to give you a workout as you dangle up to 40 feet (12.19 meters) above the ground, swinging and climbing through the trees. Experience up to 25 bridges and 12 zip lines!

Day 6 LAKE LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND

JOURNEY TO ANDERMATT
Get off the train in Taesch and enjoy a motor coach ride through the wide, pastoral Urseren Valley, located at the foot of the Gotthard Pass and flanked by the Aare and Gotthard mountain ranges of the Adula Alps.
LUNCH IN ANDERMATT
Stop for lunch in the historic town of Andermatt—the largest village in the valley—with its shingled houses and charming streets. Delight in a delicious meal at a traditional Swiss restaurant.
JOURNEY TO LUCERNE
Head for Lucerne on beautiful Lake Lucerne, driving through the splendid landscape that boasts a gorgeous mountain panorama, lush meadows in the summer and a pure white carpet of snow in the winter.

Ride along the trails that weave around Switzerland's fourth-largest lake while admiring the awe-inspiring mountains that surround its startling blue waters.

Explore Old Town with its 14th-century walls and spired buildings that seem straight out of a storybook. Explore Kapellbrücke (translates to "Chapel Bridge"), the oldest surviving truss bridge in the world, which crosses the Reuss River and connects Old Town to the Saint Peter Chapel—with an interior displaying the paintings that survived a fire created by the 17th-century local artist Hans Heinrich Wägmann.

EXCURSION TO MOUNT TITLIS
For a fun-filled day of activities, ride in the rotating Rotair aerial cable car up to Mount Titlis, Central Switzerland's highest peak at 10,000 feet. And enjoy a spectacular view of valleys, mountains, lakes, forest, ice boulders and glaciers along the way. Once you reach the top, delight in these snow experiences—guided by either Adventure Guides or local guides:
Glacier Viewing: Get closer to the crevasses of a glacier on the "Ice Flyer" chairlift.
Sledding: Go sledding down the side of the mountain for a thrilling way to experience the Swiss Alps.
Hiking: Hike up one of the trails to see the mountain and its environs up close, enjoying the amazing views along the way.
The Titlis Cliff Walk: Stroll across Titlis Cliff Walk, the highest suspension bridge in Europe at a height of 1,600 feet (487.68 meters) and be awestruck by the astounding views.
The Glacier Cave: Venture into the very heart of Mount Titlis where ice crystals sparkle on turquoise-blue walls of ice in a cave that lies 65.6 feet (20 meters) below the glacier's surface.

Continue your thrilling snow experiences until it's time to travel back down the hill to Engelberg.
VISIT A CHEESE FACTORY IN ENGELBERG
Head to a monastery for a tour of a cheese factory. Watch cheese being made by hand and see how milk is transformed into the famous Engelberger Klosterglocke—a mild cheese pressed into the shape of a monastery bell. Discover other regional cheeses, milk products and souvenirs as well.
PRIVATE FAREWELL DINNER AT THE OLD SWISS HOUSE IN LUCERNE
Be greeted on the deck of this landmark restaurant by 3 Swiss Alpen Horn Players playing traditional Swiss music—and then be served by wait staff wearing traditional Lucerne garb!
